Professor Lulu Rodriquez traveled this fall to Nairobi to attend the All-Africa Congress on Biotechnology where she delivered a paper about attitudes concerning biotechnology in Africa. The congress sponsored by the African Biotechnology Stakeholders Forum, the Agricultural Biotechnology Network in Africa, and the African Union's Department of Rural Economy and Agriculture discussed how to harness the potential of biotechnology for food security and socio-economic development in Africa.
